The default home page is shown when the device starts. It is also used as the quick-return destination when the Confirm button is short-pressed on certain pages.
¶ Set the Standby Page
- Open the Settings page.
- Select “Standby Page.”
- Short-press the Confirm button to edit the setting.
- Select “None,” “Clock,” “Tasks,” or “Images.”
- Short-press the Confirm button to save.
Once configured, the device switches to this page before entering low-power standby. This is useful when you want the standby display to remain on the clock, task list, or an image.
¶ Use the Clock and Weather Page
- Press and hold the Up or Down button to switch to the Clock page.
- Wi-Fi and battery status appear at the top.
- A large clock appears in the center.
- The date row shows the Gregorian date, day of the week, and lunar date.
- Today's weather appears on the left. Unfinished tasks are prioritized on the right; if there are no unfinished tasks, tomorrow's weather is shown instead.
Weather information requires a network connection. The location is detected automatically based on the network, and the weather usually refreshes after synchronization completes.
- Press and hold the Confirm button and begin speaking.
- Say a countdown command, for example:
- “Start a 10-minute countdown.”
- “Start a 30-second countdown.”
- “Start a 1-hour countdown.”
- Release the Confirm button.
- The device switches to the Clock page and displays the countdown.
The countdown range is 1 second to 2 hours. While it is running, use the Up/Down button to select “Pause” or “End,” then short-press the Confirm button to run the selected action.
- Press and hold the Confirm button and begin speaking.
- Say a Pomodoro command, for example:
- “Open the Pomodoro timer.”
- “Start a Pomodoro.”
- “Focus for 30 minutes.”
- Release the Confirm button.
- The device switches to the Clock page and displays the current stage, cycle number, and remaining minutes.
By default, the Pomodoro timer uses 25-minute work sessions, 5-minute breaks, and 4 cycles. You can also give a customized command such as, “Set a Pomodoro with 30 minutes of work, a 5-minute break, and 3 cycles.”
When you press and hold the Confirm button on the Clock or Tasks page, a suggested voice command appears randomly at the bottom of the screen. Suggestions include commands for weather, countdowns, Pomodoro timers, reminders, and tasks.
Random suggestions are hidden while a countdown or Pomodoro timer is running so that they do not interfere with the active timer.
Use a phone or tool that can write NFC text records, and write the text as JSON.
Trigger one synchronization:
{"cmd":"sync"}
Set the OTA URL:
{"cmd":"set_ota_url","url":"https://example.com/ota/"}
Instructions:
- Write one of the JSON records above to a phone or NFC tag as a text record.
- Hold the phone or NFC tag near the device's NFC area.
- Move it away; the device reads and runs the command.
- The sync command triggers one network synchronization. The OTA URL command saves the new update-check address.
Tip: After a command has been written successfully once, triggering another NFC read from the phone will run the most recently written command again.
Setting the OTA URL through NFC is intended mainly for testing and operations. Most users should use “Online Update” on the Settings page.
- Open the Settings page.
- Select “Online Update.”
- If a new release is available, the page displays its version number.
- Short-press the Confirm button and follow the prompts to begin the update.
Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged before updating. If the device is not connected to a charger, the update is blocked when the battery level is below 50%.
¶ Images Page and Image Slideshow
- Open the Settings page.
- Select “Image Slideshow.”
- Select “No Slideshow” or choose a slideshow interval.
- After you save the setting, the Images page changes images at the selected interval.
If the device has not received any images, the Images page displays “No images available.” Short-press the Up/Down button to move manually to the previous or next image.
