ZECTRIX NOTE4 is a ready-to-use AI e-paper note display built around a 4.2-inch 400 × 300 black-and-white panel and an ESP32-S3. This page covers the current NOTE4 hardware specification.
Model check: NOTE4 uses a black-and-white e-paper display. NOTE4C is a separate four-color development device. Their display drivers and firmware images are not interchangeable, so confirm the model before flashing or restoring firmware.

E-paper keeps the last image visible without continuous backlighting. Voice recognition, synchronization, weather, and other cloud-connected features require 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Actual battery life varies with signal quality, refresh frequency, voice use, screen content, and battery condition.
NOTE4 ships with official firmware for everyday use. Development and community firmware may replace the installed firmware and can use a different partition layout. Before flashing, verify that the image is specifically built for the black-and-white NOTE4, back up the complete 16 MiB Flash when possible, and keep a tested recovery path.
Do not install NOTE4C firmware on NOTE4. NOTE4C uses a different four-color display configuration and separate firmware targets.
