Product positioning: A productivity tool built around an ESP32 and a 4.2-inch E-Ink display, with a focus on AI interaction and task management.
Q: How do I use the device? Where is the manual?
A: Open the Quick Start hub and select the guide for your device model and purchase batch.
Q: Why does the device show as offline after I add it?
A: This is normal. The device appears offline while it is asleep.
Q: How do I send an image to the device?
A: See the quick-start guide. Image delivery through the Mini Program will be available in an upcoming release.
Q: How do I switch pages or return to the task list?
A: Press and hold either the Up or Down button to move between pages.
Q: Why is the battery draining quickly?
A: Set a longer sync interval, update to the latest firmware, and use the device where the Wi-Fi signal is strong whenever possible.
Q: Why does something inside the device feel loose?
A: On some first-batch units, the battery adhesive may have come loose during shipping. This does not affect normal operation. If you are comfortable working on the device, ask customer support for the disassembly video and reattach the battery. Do not insert a prying tool too deeply when opening the cover, as this can damage the display.
Q: Why was my image not delivered, or why did my tasks not sync?
A: The device retrieves new information when its next scheduled sync occurs. Set a shorter sync interval when testing.
Q: Can I connect the device to my own large language model?
A: Our server does not currently support this. The developer edition will provide a Web API as well as the base server and firmware source code. DIY users will be able to configure their own agent or connect their own model API, such as Gemini, Doubao, or Qwen, for highly customized voice conversations and logic.
Q: Can users of the standard edition obtain the development materials?
A: Development materials—such as the SDK, base firmware source code, and hardware schematics—are primarily provided for the developer edition. The standard full edition is designed to work out of the box and is optimized for stability. If you have a standard edition and later want to experiment with DIY development, refer to the general tutorials published by ZECTRIX Lab on Bilibili and contact customer support to request the materials.
Q: Are there any additional charges for the versions currently on sale?
A: No. The device price includes all token usage fees, so it is relatively more expensive than buying hardware alone and assembling it yourself. A development kit without AI services will be introduced in the future.
Q: Does the device support phone synchronization?
A: Yes. The UI includes menus for the sync interval and task list. Multi-device access through the web and mobile clients keeps tasks synchronized between your phone and the device.
Q: Does it support synchronization with third-party task services such as TickTick?
A: Planned. Third-party plugins are already available. We plan to add synchronization through future firmware updates or an open plugin interface.
Q: Does it support Xiaomi Home integration?
A: Not currently. Our current priority is improving the core AI interaction and productivity experience.
Q: Can I use it as an e-book reader?
A: Not currently. The device has no external TF card slot and is designed as an always-at-hand voice assistant, so e-book reading is not included in the initial feature set.
Q: How long does the device last on one charge?
A: It offers very long battery life. The low-power ESP32 design and sleep strategy provide approximately 1–3 months of battery life under typical use. The battery must be smaller than 75 mm × 50 mm × 5 mm; experienced users may replace it with another battery that fits within these dimensions.
